"I have recently purchased a Canon 70-200mm F4 L IS lens from Martins Camera shop. This was the first time I have used the shop and like other contributors I was a little worried as I was parting with a lot of money. When I placed the order I was told that the lens was not in stock, and delivery could be up to 10 working days. I also double checked the quoted price with them as other quotes I had received from reputable UK suppliers were a lot more expensive, and was assured that they would hold the price quoted to me. This they did,and the lens arrived very well packaged on working day 9. The communication by e mail was excellent. Overall I would rate the buying experience from Martins Camera shop as excellent. Martins was the best price on the internet and this was my first purchase from them, so admittedly I was a little hesitant, but was reassured by the reviews I had read both here and elsewhere. I paid by bank-transfer to get a further discount over paying by credit-card (its impressive they pass this saving on!). Whilst order fulfillment was a little longer than Im used to for internet stores (around 7 days in total), during this time, all my e-mails were very promptly and helpfully responded to by the Martins staff and the ETA I was given up-front was accurate. The item that arrived was excellent and I was also able to claim the Canon cashback rebate, further adding to the savings. All in all, I was very satisfied with my purchase!"
